A year after the first Marathon, Bungie comes back with a vengeance. With a newfound focus on strong level design, more technical innovations, and a full suite of multiplayer offerings, Marathon 2: Durandal shows Bungie looking much closer to the team that would go on to make Halo. A continuation of the story and characters from Marathon, with new weapons like Doom 2’s super shotgun, and new enemies.
